About Nelson Allen

Nelson is an experienced trustee and has served as Board Chairperson and has chaired the major standing committees of the Board and currently a member of the Facilities Planning Committee, the Policy Committee and the Audit Committee. He is a strong proponent of community involvement and has been working to secure a Joint Use Agreement with the City of Nanaimo that would see our citizens have wider access to sports and service facilities. A former educator and businessman Nelson brings a wealth of experience to the Board of Trustees.
